Mr. Larson leads Middlemarch Capital Partner's limited partnership initiatives, securing capital for co-investments the firm makes alongside top institutional investors as well as opportunities it pursues as an independent sponsor from family offices, small financial institutions, and high net worth individuals. He has spent his entire 30-year career in financial services as a sales executive, banker, and deal structurer.
Prior to joining Middlemarch Partners, Mr. Larson served as Head of Credit Sales and Trading for Merrill Lynch Canada where he sat on the debt operating committee and as a Executive Director of Structured Sales at UBS and Deutsche Bank. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Larson spent nine years at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities division.
Mr. Larson has worked with major global banks, insurance companies, and conduits and has provided advisory and structured solutions for their regulatory capital, economic capital, and funding management efforts. He has been responsible for origination, structuring, and placement of complex financial solutions across a broad spectrum of asset classes including rates, regulatory capital, credit, CRE, commodities, and insurance risk.
Mr. Larson received an MBA from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University where he majored in Finance. He graduated from McGill University with a BA in Economics and Political Science. He holds Series 7, 63, and 24 FINRA registrations.
